Program Overview
Diploma in Health Information Management (DHIM) is a 3 –year programme designed to develop competencies in the area of Health and Medical Information Management .It improves their practices especially in the function of ICD-10 Disease and Procedure Coding in Case-Mix System to support critical needs and complement the dynamic healthcare service requirements. Student will be given conducive material to enhance the uses World-wide reference book, International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10) to specialize in. Extensively this programme aims students to experience real – world in Medical Record Department by attending practical posting every semester in 26 selected KPJ Hospitals. Through strategic collaboration with Hospital University Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) students are to attend mandatory training sessions and will obtain ICD-10 certification. Many of our academician are wealth in industry experience of their chosen field and their skills are up to date which reflects good results in student.

Pelajar Malaysia:
- Lulus SPM / SPMV atau kelayakan yang setaraf dan minimum tiga (3) kredit dalam mata pelajaran berikut;
- Bahasa Malaysia; dan
- Matematik atau Sains (Sains Tambahan, Sains Am, Fizik, Kimia, Biologi)
- Kredit dalam mana-mana satu (1) mata pelajaran lain
- Lulus Bahasa Inggeris
